Mexican President Challenges UK Asylum for Corruption Accused
Claudia Sheinbaum, the president of Mexico, has announced plans to formally challenge the UK's decision to grant asylum to Karime Macías, the ex-wife of a former governor accused of embezzling nearly £5 million. Macías is wanted in Mexico for allegedly siphoning funds from the state welfare office and has been living in London.
