Empower Semiconductor has launched three new embedded silicon capacitors aimed at improving power integrity for next-generation AI and HPC processors. These capacitors are designed to meet the increasing demands for performance and efficiency in advanced computing applications.
Embedded silicon capacitors are components integrated directly into the processor substrate, designed to enhance power integrity and performance.
Empower's ECAPs provide higher capacitance density, ultralow ESL and ESR, and improved power delivery network performance.
Empower will present insights on PDN optimization strategies at the Chiplet Summit and DesignCon events.
The new ECAPs offer capacitance values ranging from 9.34μF to 36.8μF.
The new ECAPs were announced on February 10, 2026.
